Being a great visionary, Gadi Leshem, along with his staff, effectively relayed a substantial message in this film—all through just a song. It’s just like watching a music video of a rapper, although the real stars here are the Ogden City cops who do a good job in trying to maintain a peaceful community.

Creative, resourceful, inspirational—these are just some of the words to best describe the film. What Gadi Leshem has produced here is a visionary wonder. The film is just like a short commercial break, but it leaves you with an important and powerful message that makes you see the cop profession in a different light. With just a combination of Ogden City cop pictures and videos and shots of the rapper, this film effectively invites aspiring young men and women who may have not previously considered a career in law enforcement to join the police force. In fact, we wouldn’t be surprised if you end up applying to be a cop at the Ogden City Police after watching this too! After all, it is cool to be a cop.

The movie industry is so broad that it comprises of different film categories like action, comedy, drama, horror, musical and documentary. I much prefer the latter since it uses varied techniques, resources and aesthetics to tell their subjects’ stories. Moreover, it clearly portrays some aspects of reality, which often leaves a big impact for its viewers.

I remember a popular saying that goes like this,”Behind a successful man, there is always a woman”. However, in the documentary film industry, behind the success of the film lies on the creativity and careful watch of the film producers. I must say, Gadi Leshem is my favorite documentary film producer of all time.

Gadi Leshem is a master of negotiation and people management. Without a doubt, he plays a great role in the film industry since the completion of the film project is dependent upon his passion, skill, capability to hire the right team and strict adherence to budget constraints.

Most certainly, Gadi’s undeniable love for filmmaking, is seen in several of the documentaries that he had produced including Five Alarm Opportunity, Work Place Safety, Cool Cop Rap, Elegant Esser and Ludwig. His brilliant documentaries are mostly focused on a specific subject area and social awareness.

Finally, we have the film producers, like Gadi Leshem to thank for bringing a film’s vision to life. Surely, their inspiring masterpieces are anticipated by many film aficionados worldwide.

And he is a Daschund.

You read right. There is a Daschund that is the Chairman of the Board. His name: Ludwig Van Esser. His qualification for being Chairman of the Board: “he’s funny.”

You’ll get to know him if you watch Gadi Leshem’s documentary “Esser Vineyards – The Chairman”. One of the many proofs that dogs are indeed man’s best friend, this film is about the lovely dog that “runs” the Esser Vineyards, a family-owned vineyard in Napa Valley. You’ll see the Daschund in his singing glory in this Leshem-produced musical—err, documentary rather. And you’ll see why he is much loved by the Esser family that they named him as the Chairman of the Board.

Most of the documentaries produced by Gadi Leshem may focus on serious stuff that dwells more on motivational and training aspect, but this one’s a refreshing take on one of his corporate imaging DVDs. Only shows that the producer/businessman as well as his staff also have a sense of humor.

Everybody knows him as a businessman, but not everyone knows that he’s also the man behind short documentary films such as Four Weeks in May, T.E.A.M.W.O.R.K. and more.

Yes, besides dabbling in various kinds of businesses, Gadi Leshem also played a part in a number of documentary films by Bizazz Media. His role: executive producer.

Bizazz Media is a California-based company which “produces motivational, training and corporate imaging DVDs.” And since we’re talking about motivational, we might as well talk about one of the documentaries Leshem produced: “CDCR Overview: Where Do You Fit In?”

CDCR stands for California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, and the documentary “Where Do You Fit In?” centers on what it takes to have the “greatest entry level job in California.”

As the film states, pride, strength, compassion and integrity are the key qualities you need to become an officer. Gadi Leshem’s film shows the daily activities of the officers—from trainings to counseling sessions with the inmates. As you get deeper into the documentary, you’ll see that being an officer is more than being a bad ass with loads of guts or being a man, for that matter. Rather, it’s about wanting to effect change (regardless of whether you’re a man or a woman)—both to the society and the offenders, some of which are youth. Now, who wouldn’t want that kind of job, right?
